  • Darebin City Council has resolved to investigate several different strategies in the fight against obesity and Type 2 Diabetes.

  • Darebin Council will celebrate International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO) with art installations and entertainment on High Street Northcote, and a community forum at Northcote Town Hall on 17 May 2012. The community forum will help develop Darebin’s first ever Action Plan on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer (GLBTIQ) issues.
  • Darebin City Council’s Decibels Records program is looking for two upcoming local bands or solo artists aged 12 – 25 to work with throughout 2012
  • Darebin City Council is set to launch a new website in the next step towards completing the Darebin Housing Strategy.
